The Thai Wife had me enthralled from start to end, in fact, I didn't want it to end! This book took me on a journey and introduced me to a country and culture I know so little about.
Not only a geographical journey, but a journey of unimaginable deprivation, violence, human strength, love and ultimately revenge.
It's the story of Lek Jiapong and all that she is in heart, body and soul.
The Thai Wife made me smile, made me angry and brought me tears.
